Sony Experia Z1 launch experiential

 

As competitive as the mobile handset market is, it’s always a challenge to create a truly new way to show off and capture public attention.

So, when Sony approached the agency with a brief to showcase their latest mobile phone technology, we knew it would be a challenge.

 

We decided to lead with the phones benefit of incorporating a waterproof camera system that allowed the user to take photographs and text whilst under water. So, how do you show the public that your phone really does work underwater whilst in a shopping centre? They thought an on-counter POS water tank we do the job.

 

We thought a little bit bigger - real divers in 7-ton water tanks to create an experience that was truly engaging for the consumer and amplify it through social media.
